Shopify Engineer

Nebulab is hiring an experienced Shopify Engineer for a fully remote role open worldwide. You'll work on challenging Shopify Plus projects, from custom theme development to headless commerce implementations, collaborating with designers, strategists, and developers to create exceptional digital experiences for international mid-market and enterprise brands. Essential qualifications: 3+ years developing on Shopify platform, proficiency with Liquid templating and Shopify Theme development, strong JavaScript and React skills, understanding of eCommerce fundamentals, Shopify Plus and API expertise, and hands-on experience with Shopify app development. Nice-to-have skills include Hydrogen framework experience, Shopify CLI, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails, and checkout extensions knowledge. Responsibilities include onboarding into workflows (first 3 months), contributing to theme customizations and app development, code reviews, taking on larger Shopify Plus projects (3-6 months), mentoring junior developers, and fully owning major projects from requirements to deployment (6-12 months).
